X-Fest

The X-Fest is a newer style of festival for the Paranormal and Supernatural. It also includes other elements of Halloween that will showcase people with their own personal gifts and abilities, merchants, writers, speakers, live music and much more. There will be free seminars all day with the price of admission. The seminars will range from mystical characters, to the paranormal, to seeing and believing in aliens.

After the X-Fest is over, the facility will be transformed into a haven for blood thirsty party goers. This is called “The Vampires’ Ball”. However, it isn’t mandatory that you dress in Vampire attire. This is also considered a Masquerade Ball of sorts. Feel free to come in any costume! At 9pm, the evening will have only just begun. This ball will be held for the duration of the evening and will be open similar to “bar hours” for all to come and enjoy a cash bar with complimentary food and live entertainment. The entertainment will include a DJ, a live band later in the evening, while earlier… a live talent competition and fashion show! Food will be served between the hours of 9pm and 10pm during the Talent Competition and the Halloween Fashion show. Then we will be kicking off with live music in one room and a DJ on the other.

The X-Fest and The Vampires’ Ball will take place at The Grand Valley Dale Ballroom at 1590 Sunbury Road Columbus, Ohio. Both will be held on the Saturday before Halloween, October 29th, 2011. The X-Fest hours are from 9am to 6pm and the Ball hours are from 9pm to 2am. The cost of The X-Fest is $10 per person for the entire day. The cost of the Ball will be $25 per person and will include all food, party favors, DJ, giveaways and live entertainment!

If you are a vendor at The X-Fest you will receive a free ticket to the Vampires’ Ball that evening. If you are not a vendor but you would like to visit both, you may purchase a ticket for both and take off $10. So that means you get into the X-Fest day festival for free!

The Mariott Hotels will be offering discounted room rates for all attending the ball and a free shuttle will run to and from the Valley Dale Ballroom all evening. We will also have a shuttle running from High Street to and from the ball every hour on the hour!
